Switch from RealGreen

Leave RealGreen without losing your history.

Fifteen years of invoices, payments, measurements, and program pricing is your business, not your software vendor's. Glide by Blade moves all of it, and gives your customers a secure way to re-enter their cards so stored-token exit fees lose their grip.

The cost of leaving, as reported by RealGreen customers

$3,000
reported per merchant ID to migrate stored card tokens out of WorkWave Payments
$500
reported early termination fee
$995
reported implementation fee on the way in, before add-ons

Figures above come from public reports by RealGreen customers in 2026. Your contract may differ; check your own agreement before you plan a move.

Why people leave

The bill keeps finding new ways to grow.

  • Quote-only pricing, typically reported at $300 or more per month on annual contracts
  • Add-ons billed separately: routing, measurement, the mobile app tier, and the customer website each carry their own line
  • User and usage metering, so hiring a tech or growing call volume raises the software bill
  • Frequent price increases, reported by customers year after year
  • Forced tech-app updates that customers report causing downtime in the field

Glide by Blade charges a flat monthly rate per active account. No per-seat fees, and the phone system is included. The rates are on the pricing page with a calculator.

The migration

What moves with you. All of it.

Most competitors move a customer list and call it a migration. A RealGreen operator's real anchor is the history. We migrate from your RealGreen backup, and we bring the business, not just the names.

01

Full financial history

Every invoice, every payment, and your accounts receivable, linked to the right customer, so balances match on day one.

02

Attachments and documents

The PDFs, photos, and letters saved on each account come across and stay on the account.

03

Lawn measurements

The square footage you spent years building moves with each property, ready for pricing and spray records.

04

Programs and pricing

Your program setups and the prices you promised customers are preserved, including per-customer overrides.

05

Customers and contacts

The whole list with phones, emails, and contact preferences. Leads and inactive accounts come too, at no charge.

06

Run both during the switch

Keep working in RealGreen until cutover day. We take a final delta import from a fresh backup, so nothing entered in between is lost.

Stored card tokens

The card-token fee, sidestepped.

RealGreen customers report being quoted about $3,000 per merchant ID to move stored card tokens out of WorkWave Payments. You do not have to buy your own autopay book back.

Glide by Blade includes a secure re-collection path instead. Each customer gets a link to your passwordless client portal, by text, email, or a printed letter, and enters their card there, straight into your new processor. Card numbers never pass through email, paper, or your staff, and your autopay book rebuilds as customers pay their next invoice.

Payments run through QuickBooks Online payments at the standard 2.9 percent card rate, with no markup from us.

Straight answers

What to know before you switch.

Two things we are upfront about. The field app is Android-first; iOS is in progress, and the office side runs in any browser on any device. And we are a newer vendor: we build Glide by Blade hand in hand with a landscaping company that has run crews since 1974, and we proved it against a book of more than 38,000 customer records before offering it to anyone else.
