Glide by Blade vs Yardbook

Yardbook's free tier has been real for a decade, and for a solo mower watching every dollar it is a fair place to start. The comparison below is about what happens when the business grows past it.

Credit where due

Where Yardbook is genuinely strong.

Free has been Yardbook's promise for over a decade, it has a huge installed base, and an active community. If you mow a handful of lawns on weekends, it costs nothing and that is hard to argue with.

The gap opens when you run treatment programs, a second truck, or an office: routes instead of lists, measured quotes instead of guesses, a phone line that lands on the customer record, and compliance records an inspector will accept. That is the work Glide by Blade is built for, at pricing you can add up yourself on our pricing page.

Straight answers

What to know before you switch.

Two things we are upfront about. The field app is Android-first; iOS is in progress, and the office side runs in any browser on any device. And we are a newer vendor: we build Glide by Blade hand in hand with a landscaping company that has run crews since 1974, and we proved it against a book of more than 38,000 customer records before offering it to anyone else.
